I’m really excited to be hosting a Sodashi Weekend of Wellness at Emirates One & Only Wolgan Valley from Friday 27 – Sunday 29 October 2017. Surrounded by majestic cliffs and canyons in the Greater Blue Mountains, it is a haven of pure tranquillity and the perfect location for a relaxing wellness retreat.

What is a wellness retreat?

A ‘wellness retreat’ or weekend of wellness is about getting away from day-to-day responsibilities and the rush of daily life. It’s an opportunity to take some time to gain clarity about your past, present and future.  To pause and gain a new perspective to look at things differently in your life, with the ultimate goal of feeling more energised, refreshed and with a renewed passion for life.

When you turn your focus on your wellbeing, you may want to reflect on these statements, which may or may not apply to you.

  • I don’t sleep well and wake up feeling tired.
  • I feel completely overwhelmed and stressed by life/job/ relationship/family.
  • I’m feeling stuck with my life.
  • I have just gone through a huge trauma in my life and I want some space.
  • I am trying to find out what my life purpose is.
  • I don’t know what my passion is and I’m trying to find that out.
  • I want to get into shape and have healthier habits.
  • I want to feel great and have more energy.

This retreat is an opportunity to give your mind and body nourishment from within.  You will have the time and can discover, with some guidance, to look for answers from inside yourself.

About Wolgan Valley:

Wolgan Valley has long been one of my favourite locations in Australia.  I can quite happily just sit and watch the light changing across the mountains around me.  But then I’m distracted by the wildlife, the birdlife, the delicious food and the divine Sodashi spa therapies.  All this makes it a sanctuary of nourishment and the perfect environment for wellness, which I can’t wait to share with you. Relax, unwind and re-balance in one of the most beautiful locations in the world.

Megan Larsen is trained in a number of holistic therapies, including Aromatherapy and Bach Flower Essence consultation as well as Meditation, and has also studied Ayurveda and natural therapies for over 25 years.
