Often acknowledged as one of the world’s most serene premier getaway destinations, Emirates One Only Wolgan Valley’s beautiful property is the perfect place for some well-earned you-time and is hosting Sodashi’s 2018 Weekend of Wellness.

We spoke to Wolgan Valley Spa Manager, Tenneille Maxwell to get her thoughts on what makes Wolgan Valley so incredibly magical and what wellness means to her.

  • What does ‘wellness’ mean to you?

Wellness is holistic to me – from using high quality, natural skin products like Sodashi, to fuelling yourself with organic and nutrient-dense food, it’s all about looking after yourself from the inside out so you feel healthy and happy.

  • What makes a stay at Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley so special for visitors?

Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley is an ultra-luxury, conservation-based resort tucked away on a 7,000-acre reserve and surrounded by majestic cliffs and canyons, offering guests the chance to rebalance amongst the pristine beauty of the Blue Mountains, it’s, unlike anything you have ever experienced before. The restorative powers of nature are harnessed to rejuvenate the mind, body and soul.

  • What makes a spa treatment at Wolgan Valley so special for visitors?

The One&Only Spa is a haven of tranquillity, boasting sweeping mountain views and state-of-the-art facilities. Signature spa treatments utilize Australia’s own 100% chemical-free skincare range, Sodashi, ensuring each and every treatment is a journey of holistic wellbeing.

  • How do you ‘unplug’?

With an exciting career and lifestyle, to really unplug means committing wholeheartedly to self-care rituals including daily exercise, evening herbal tea, weekly skincare treatments and monthly massage or acupuncture sessions.  I also like to switch off all electronics, get outside and go for a long walk in the gorgeous surrounds of the resort – it really helps me to rebalance and unwind.

We invite you to experience the true magic of Wolgan Valley during our Sodashi Weekend of Wellness 2018.
